$80 from the sale of this bracelet will be donated.
Love it or hate it, these old hair pieces are fascinating. Mid Victorian era it became en vogue to learn how to weave a friend or loved ones hair into wearable pieces of jewelry art that could be worn to memorialize them forever. This bracelet is one of the nicer pieces with a solid 14 karat gold clasp decorated with wonderful hand engraving. The bracelet is finely woven, and 6 1/4” long by 3/4” wide.
This bracelet is probably not wearable. Near the clasp it is starting to come undone, and it has been kept folded for years. It is a wonderful piece for a collector to display.
